I have had a passion for lighting shows ever since I walked into a local roadhouse venue over 20 years ago. The magic and storytelling permeated into the very depths of my being, but the most recognizable thing was seeing all the performers and technicians leave everything they had on the stage for that applause. The kind of applause where it was apparent that lives had been changed. The performers on stage, the technicians working in the wings, and the designers behind the pencils, gave every ounce of their being to serve, with quiet excellence and precision, the story that they were trying to tell.
We at JBT Theatrical Design, strive to bring that same level of commitment, excellence and precision, to every opportunity we encounter. We are artists that are blessed to serve the storytelling process through the medium of light. We believe that whether it is a play, musical, concert, wedding or corporate event; that at the fundamental level there is a story that needs to be told. We want to leave every ounce of our being on the stage for the sake of your story. We use the best equipment and the best people to ensure that not only expectations are met, but that they are exceeded, and that you can enjoy that applause, that applause that changes lives.

Second, we have over twenty years of experience in theatrical lighting and production management. We have built a network of like-minded professionals who are also willing to come along side us to help exceed our clients expectations. A: Any pursuit of a live theatrical event can be costly. The great thing about us, is that we understand the importance of a budget. That is why we are flexible in the services that we provide. Our services range from full project design to hourly labor.
